Campañas: 1926

El segundo torneo de Excursionistas en Primera división.

Un campeonato que comenzó el 4 de Abril y se jugó a una sola rueda, sin descensos, con la participación de 26 equipos.

Se incorporó Talleres R.E., campeón de Intermedia.

Independiente resultó campeón, de forma invicta y no hubo descensos.

Excursionistas disputo  finalizó 20º empeorando en las posiciones con respecto al año anterior.

Participaron del torneo los 26 equipos que jugaron el campeonato con el agregado de 6 clubes que cambiaron de asociación: Temperley, Nueva Chicago, All Boys, Colegiales, El Porvenir y Sportivo Barracas.

El formato fue el mismo que en 1925, los equipos se dividieron en 5 zonas y se jugó a una sola rueda clasificando el primero de cada grupo.
Excursionistas participó en la zona E junto a Sportivo Palermo, Barracas Central, San Lorenzo, Liberal Argentino y Estudiantes Bs. As.

El campeón fue Independiente, repitiendo lo hecho en 1925.
